I feel that it was an honour to have known Penny. We met many years ago when I had to stand in for her normal hairdresser and blow dry her as she would call it ‘wayward hair’! From then on we had a lovely weekly meeting to discuss the problems of the world under the hum of a hairdryer! I have so many memories but my favourite is the time when I was drying Penny’s hair, at that time I was 6 months pregnant and it was a very warm September. Penny insisted we dried her hair in a relay to help me from overheating, laughed and chuckled, probably two hours later we finished! Client participation at its most! Penny was an amazing lady that I will always remember with fondness ❤️
